Scared breast cancer

SO I noticed a part of my areola that gets puffy but goes back down. In late May I accidently got my boob caught in my parents car window getting water when we were traveling. Anyways thats when I noticed this issue. Since then I have been in a dead panic. I did go to the doctor in July she did a breast exam and saw no reason to worry . The dr dis a follow up in August and said the same thing. She thinks its my anxiety playing up. However I noticed today a small red dot on my areola and of course I googled and now freaked myself out. Anyone else go through similar feelings?

an accident like getting your breast caught in the window does not cause cancer. The breast tissue was injured and takes quite a while to heal. The puffiness is understandable and you have seen the doctor. The little red dot is nothing to worry about. Sometimes tiny blood vessels under the skin break and caused little red dots. Not harmful.
please relax. and the worst thing you can do is Google things like this. It does not pertain to your individual situation and all you are doing is scaring yourself for no reason. Relax and enjoy your life!

I have lumps all through both my breasts (presumed to be cysts) i got two opinions and 2nd dr sent me for an ultrasound after me stewing on it for a couple months and more lumps popping up. I had an ultrasound this week and get the results next week. I just couldnt let it go without having that ultrasound considering they are full on lumps!
The results were back yesterday but i cant get in yet and i presume if it were anything bad the dr would have asked for an urgent appointment so that gives me some comfort while waiting.
As the others said youve probably damaged the breast tissue which is still healing. But if you really cant just live with that ask for an ultrasound but given you dont have any lumps/dimpling/hot red spots or pink/red discharge i think all is fine 😃

hey dont worry this happens to mine all the time, some times it goes puffy then goes back to normal if it was breast cancer it wouldn't come and go it would be there all the time and not even sure puffiness is linked to cancer. stop worrying you're fine. enjoy christmas xx

From the one person who worries about breast cancer on a daily basis, (that would be me), usually breast cancer symptoms don't come and go. The puffiness could be from hormonal changes or anything. How old are you? If you're younger than 30 the odds of you having breast cancer are very low. Not impossible, but unlikely. If you can't get peace about it, ask your doctor to send you for an ultrasound. As for the small
red dot, I have them on both of my breasts and they're normal and happen as we age. If it were inflammatory breast cancer, it spreads extremely fast and you would notice a change in your breast daily. If the spot is itchy, use some hydrocortisone cream and see if that helps. I hope this helps to ease your mind a little bit. But take it from me. Enjoy your life and don't worry about this and dwell on it too long. Get it checked and then move on from it. I wish I would have never googled because now I can't put it out of my mind and every time something new happens in my right breast I flip out and panic. It's a terrible thing to live with so get help with your anxiety. Prayers for you.
