Scared I have MS, HELP

Posted , 3 users are following.

Hi

I’ve recently been experiencing some weird symptoms over these past 3 weeks. I have vertigo (which I have never had) the doctor has prescribed me with medication that is not helping.

2 days ago I started getting a dead arm and pins and needles all across my body.

I’m scared that I have MS. I’ve been to the doctors and they said it’s all in my head. Please help

    Hi Jasmine,

Please don't be scared, calm down. There are so many things that causes this.

Last week I told my Dr. about this happening to me.She said in my case it is

probably a pinched nerve.Mine was as always the left arm that feels as tho I just put on an armband. There are many symptoms of MS making it hard to diagnose.

    Jasmine101,

Unfortunately we live in a age where doctors seem to think everyone is created equal when we are not. I had a doctor tell me it was in my head and also had a doctor tell me that my blood pressure being 220/145 was just anxiety which after changing doctors I had to go into surgery two days later and have two stent's put in.

Ultimately it is your body and if its telling you something is wrong listen to it. Be extremely persistent if you have too call the Dr. everyday and make a appointment or worse case go to the ER once or twice a week. Ask to see a specialist. If they seem hesitant ask to be sent to a major university that specialises in rare health issue's.

Bottom line persistence and try to keep your anxiety in check.
