I was admitted to the hospital back in January for a double PE in my lungs and have been prescribed Eliquis and Effexor since then. fast forward to today and im in full worry mode about my heart. im overweight and fighting to eat healthier/exercise but i cant bring myself to do the latter because im afraid of dying on the spot, even though the hospital staff assured me there was no damage done to my heart. any thoughts/advice?

I think you should really start exercising and drink a good amount of water during the day. Exercise keeps the blood flowing, we are all terrified after having PEs. A good time to change lifestyle.

I want to but now tonight I coughed up a small amount of blood and my chest on the right side is still tight. Is it possible to have a recurring PE or not?

Short answer yes. That is the reason we need to keep on top of it. The doctor at the hospital said keep moving is important, when relaxing walk around at least every hour if not sooner.
