Hi Danielle, have you ever passed out when you get nervous and dizzy? If not you are scaring yourself unnecessarily, even if you did nothing bad will happen. Neil

Hi Danielle I get dizzy and nervous quite a lot with anxiety and I always think I'm going to past out but I never have. I just sit down and wait for it to past or drink some water xx

When that happens, sit or lay down and go right to your breathing. Focus on that completely. It's part of a method called Mindfulness.

Breathe in slowly and deeply through your nose making sure your belly rises.

Blow out through your mouth like blowing out a candle.

Focus on how the air feels and sounds coming in and out.

    Is it warm? Cool?  Etc

Repeat this as often as you need to.

This keeps you in the present moment and away from symptoms of anxiety and negative thoughts.

You can find Mindfulness breathing meditations on you tube if you prefer audio.

Try Mindfulness Relaxation Technique and Breathing Techniques.

Talk to your GP and explain how you feel

Hi Danielle, I am sorry you are so scared. I know it might seem impossible, but you need to calm yourself. Take a long slow deep breath and breathe out slowly. Think of all the good things in your life. Think of the last time you laughed.
