I've had 4 ekgs, 3 chest x rays, blood tests, a stress test, an echocardiogram & a holter. My cardiologist said everything was fine &i see him tomorrow to discuss the results on the holter. I'm so scared my heart is going to stop im so paranoid. Whenever im left alone i have panic attacks &i haven't been to school in a month. When i tell everyone how i feel they just brush me off. I'm so scared omg please help.

I'm shaking & the chest pain gets unbearable. I'm obsessed with the fact that i have a life threatening heart condition. I'm scared to excersise, I was hesitant to take the stress test eventhough it took me almost 10 mins for my heart rate to get to 175 bpm. Can someone please tell me im not going to have sudden cardiac arrest. I'm terrified.

It took you 20 minutes to get up to 175 and that is perfect! In 3 minutes I was 170 bpm and I'm perfectly fine. Trust me that if all tests are normal you will not die, I know it's very uncomfortable, I'm still going through the symptoms of anxiety, with my breathing and lump in throat 25/7! I was the same as you acouple months ago.

Sorry that's what I meant to write not 20 lol! But trust me, I've been living with these symptoms for 5 months and I'm still here! I started to see a psychologist and have been looking into natural medicine and remedies as I don't like taking pills but I will if I have to! You should too! Medication and psychologists help a lot!

Your heart is not going to suddenly stop. Any symptoms related to anxiety cannot hurt you. Even though they feel weird and scary. Rapid heart rate due to anxiety is caused by the brain sending out adrenaline. In time it wears off.  Heart rates can go very very high without any problem. Don’t worry about that.  Your doctor said you were fine. You must trust the results of those tests because they tell the truth. Your symptoms are not the problem. The problem is unmanaged stress and anxiety which causes the symptoms. That is the main issue. You need to learn how to relax your mind and your heart rate would come down as well as relieve any other symptoms you may be having. The problem with being alone a lot is that you end up thinking and overthinking things. And that leads to the panic.   If you don’t bring the anxiety down, the symptoms will remain. When you are alone, instead of being trapped with thoughts in your mind, listen to some audio meditations for anxiety and panic on YouTube. They teach you how to separate negative thoughts from yourself. I listen every night when I lay down to sleep and they completely relaxed me. You were letting fear take you over but you don’t have to.  If you’re having a lot of stress and anxiety in your life, I highly suggest you speak with a counselor who can help you sort this out. It really helped me a lot. Remember, your tests were all normal, you just need to get some support for the anxiety and you will feel a lot better! 😁🌸🌸🌸

This is exactly what I've been going through for the past 9 months. Like Jan34534 said, you've had all the tests done and everything is normal. Now, you need to tell yourself and accept that everything is ok, and not freak out about every little thing your body is going through. Learn to calm yourself, breath normally and focus your mind on other things. One of the things that helps me out a lot is listening to music, especially relaxing music. Look up Cafe Del Mar, their song weightless is one of the most relaxing things I've ever heard.

You are so welcome!   I meant to tell you I had your same symptoms plus many more Too.  All from anxiety and stress, this was when I was in my 20s.

I was very scared also! But my test came out normal too.

I wanted to let you know that I am now in my fifties and doing well .   I just wanted you to know that so you know that the symptoms won’t hurt you. I’m still here! LOL 😀

    Enjoy your Life !  ??
