Scared to death that this bruise will be the end of me , picture included

Look at this and please insist I won’t die of some skin infectious disease due to a puncture wound that started merely as a bruise that slowly has become this swollen and the reddish patches around it have appeared and spreading as well. Very painful to move arm.

Hi Shorty, you haven't posted a picture but, don't worry, have you asked your local pharmacist, for example?  S/he might be able to tell you what to do today.  Good luck!

I re posted it with a photo I think. I just wanted opinions before I panicked enough to ask a professional. I feel feverish now, I don’t know. I have been up all night looking into this since it’s too painful to sleep anyways. Poor posture caused me more pain to deal with. By tomorrow I’ll need a lot of medical help lol.. and I’m only 24 years old.   It will only get worse ugh.

Dr Google is not the best person to ask!

      There is no photo.

Are you in the UK?  If so, go to Boots or Lloyds Pharmacy or your local Pharmacy & speak to the Pharmacist.  He or she will tell you what to do.  If he thinks it is infected, he will tell you to go to A&E.

It is no good just worrying about it, in case you do have an infection.

Go to your local pharmacy first.

Is there a way I can add the photo without making another post? I forgot to add it. Although unless wishful thinking, it has started looking better. And less pain. Not spreading anymore either. Possibly just bad bleeding into the deeper tissues of my arm that mimicked infection. Thank goodness I tend not to get skin infections never have had anything turn into one before. I’ll keep an eye on it for now.
