Scared to get cortisone shot on foot

hello,

has anyone has a cortisone shot on their foot? can u please let me know your experience with it?

    i got one or a few with no relief actually hurt worse after

    ended up casting my leg

    My husband had a couple of cortisone shots in his foot. He also wore a boot. That combination healed a long term tendon inflammation.

    I have had cortisone for various tendonitis. If they get it in right spot, it reduces inflammation. I have had a doctor load some lidocaine in the syringe after the the cortisone to reduce discomfort. It really never seemed that bad.
