scared to get treatment for my absess

i am scared stiff to go my dentise i have no faith in him he as hit a nerve twice worst of all slipped with a tool and caused a hole under my tougue he calls me a tittybaby so havent been for years i now have an absess and am in agony im to embarresses now to go as my teeth are awfall, i have lost the cap off my front tooth too and im so depressed cause of him scareing me i in agony at the moment and am worried now that i may get something worst like bone problems cause not haveing this absess treated. :cry:

    You havent got any choice, you are going to end up at the Dentists eventually so why not get it over with before it really starts banging smile

    I'd suggest seeing if you can transfer, you're obviously unhappy with your current dentist to the point where it's causing you serious trouble.

    However, if he's the only NHS one and you cannot afford private, you're just going to have to clench your fists and go.

    I'm sure you're perfectly entitled to pain injections etc, and he should be professional and treat you with courtesy and respect, if not I'd look into seeing if you can make an anonymous complaint.

    Many people fear dentists, and if he's being like that, he's making it ten times worse.

    If you have a dental hospital near you, you can go there. Or phone NHS direct and ask for an emergency dentist.
