Scared to go to sleep after conscious sedation

Hello,
i had a endoscopy about 5 hours ago. it went pretty ok, dont remember most of it. they told me i would be at a bit higher risk for sedation because i have sleep apnea.
when i was in recovery my oxygen was at 91% which is pretty low. they waited until i was back up to 96 then let me go.
ive been very tired all day but im afraid to go to sleep thinking i may stop breathing and not wake up... is this possible???

hi try not to worry..go to sleep.sats change all the time depending on how stressed anxious we feel.look at the positive they went back up to 96 which is good and normal..mine go between 96 and 99..maybe you were feeling anxious before sedation..

No. It's not possible. It's quite safe to go to sleep.
