That's awful, I'm really sorry 🙏 to hear that. I take 2 25mg in the morning and 2 25mg at night and I've lost over 40 pounds in six months since I've been taking this medication for depression and anxiety attacks and panic attacks and it helps me sleep well at night and it helps me to have a nap in the early afternoon too. You should definitely talk to your doctor about how it's making you feel so uncomfortable for sure hun 💯

Yes those are called "hypnic jerks". Can give you a sensation of falling. Having anxiety about them can make them worse. When your body relaxes switching into sleep mode muscles twitch as they just start to relax. This causes you to suddenly wake up again. The more anxiety you have the more adrenaline will also be in your body causing muscle twitches and you subconscious will be on guard for the good old now useless "fight or flight" response. I wish you a good nights sleep. I know they feel bad but they are actually harmless.

Does it feel like a wave? I've been having trouble sleeping with loads of health anxiety and I started getting tremors. It feels like just as im drifting off a wave travels from my abdomen to my head and feels a bit relaxing beacause it makes me lightheaded and all the trembling stops for just a fraction of a second then I become startled and awake once it drops off. I get worried my heart skips a beat or something.

    I have this exact problem.

Just as you described it. I have made the assumption that it's because of my panic attacks. Seems like when I have a high number of episodes during the day. That terrible feeling happens when I try to sleep.

It's just the weirdest feeling. Like just when I blank out to sleep my body just falls right through the bed and that sensation instantly wakes me.
