I scar pretty easy an I was terrified of having this problem. I had my first outbreak about 6 weeks ago an it was pretty mild compared to watch I've seen online an read from other people's stories. my outbreak looks Similar to where u ha e ur scars an I used neosporin , a lot lol every time I would pee I would rinse off the area with cold water then apply the neosporin it helped with the pain an friction too. so finally when they started to heal they didnt really scab over they just kinda faded away but if u look real close u can definitely see very very minimal scars where they were an eventually they with fade altogether. This is what worked for me but I know everyone is different. I hope this helps you. as for the scars from ur last outbreak I would ask ur doctor what creams are safe to use for scaring in that area since it is really sensitive spot

please dont put neosporin in your outbreak. your skin needs to be clean and dry to heal. it takes signifigantly longer to heal a herpes ob with neosprin on it. please just trust me. ive had it for years, and have been through it all. instead let your lesion heal and then put the neosporin.

i use coconut oil, its antibacterial and is soothing and really helpful for your scars. please do not put neosporin on open lesion. your skin needs to breath. you can do ointment after it has closed but dont put it over the open skin!!

so you dont think the scarring will be permanent? how long did it take since your first outbreak for the scars to start going away

my skin doesnt scar much, but it does leave really wierd bumps, like oil trapped from healing that took like 3 months to go away. . but no i dont think they will be permanent, your body naturally creates new layers of skin and over time the spots will fade so to speaks. can i be real with you though?.... it doesnt matter if they are end up being permanent or not love. who ever your partner is or ends up being should love you for what you have on the inside rather than your exterior.

and if this is something you are having a problem with getting over try to focus on the positive.sure, it sucks and we are in this position now but its not something that will kill us, we can still live a very normal life, have sex, have kids. theres no limit! what im trying to say is dont let some marks bring you down, youre gonna be just fine of they dont go away<3

yeah i know its not really my partner im worried about. its just the constant reminder of what happened to me whenever i look down there that bothers me. and the more i see the more i overthink which leads to increased stressed and more than likely a breakout. i just hate how it looks and i dont want it to look like that forever

stop speaking negativity ans start speaking positivity. yes its a reminder of what happened to you. but does herpes define you? it certaintly does not define me. its inly been 3 months, its normal to still feel this way but please start looking at the positives of it. mainly you can still live a long healthy life. in july ill have had this for officially 3 years and its truly more of a blessing than a burden. i take care of my body more tha i ever have before. im mindful about anything inintake in my body. and even though im in a monagomous relationship we wear protection! all positives. i cant stress enough how a few marks arent gonna define you. yes its a bummer but dont dwell on it.
