It sounds 'real' and too realistic not to be 'real' until one realizes the situation in which the voice compels you to think it is 'real' becomes an impossibility and one then realizes it is 'just a voice'
Very disconcerting but I believe it can be treated to eliminate or reduce somewhat the hallucinations. Do discuss with your Doc the possibilities of treatments.

Over the last 6 - 8 weeks I have been having night terrors, voices and visual hallucinations.
The voice and dark shadow of a figure are the same in every terror and every vision. I have suffered from severe spinal problems over the last 8 years and the pain has become so bad recently that I gave in to the voices and tried to take my own life, I am now receiving halp in a psychiatric hospital but yesterday I took a further overdose, when they have been distracted I have been putting the meds in my pocket, again the visions and voices have been telling me to do this, and I have just been doing it as a normal thing.
The voices can become powerful and take over what you decide to do. So I would urge you to talk to someone, your GP, a friend, a family member, Samaritans. Anyone that can help you.
Pm me if you want to share your story and I will try to help, but I am probably not in the best frame of mind myself.
Regards
Buggsy

my main question is, does anyone have words come into their heads from seemingly out of nowhere ? i will be sitting (or laying) there and there will be words popping into my head. i dont actually hear them in the sense of an actual auditory experience, but f you could imagine hearing someone's voice (like think about someone you know talking), then that's what it's like.

it's really normal cause you sitting doing nothing so your mind is controlling with a bad thoughts ..
you know if I sit home one day doing nothing I would go crazy cause my mind will go like ..
oh why no one called me today ?
why am I alone ?
oh let me try that skirt that I had one year ago that never fit in cause am fat ?
and then I start crying cause am chubby and then I will choose to eat and then will cry more and even more and it gets really awful and worse that I feel sorry for myself ?
but then what non of that define me or even control me am a product designer and a married I just joined the gym ... I try to spend more time doing something to shut my mind even if its so small like learning a new recipe or a DIY project or even painting my toes .. the more time I spend doing something to entertain myself or even working on my goals either in my body or my design that makes me kind of proud of myself .. am trying to also find new hobbies or new things to interest me like am trying to grew plants from my kitchen and that take an effort which make my shut for while
Try that ..

it just must be like I look beautiful and am ready !
you are the only one who can shut those voices
