Go see a chiropractor.  I've had sciatica many, many times and, except for one spinal issue where a bone spur was crushing the sciatic nerve root at L4, all my occurrences were fixed either immediately or over a few weeks by a chiro.  Hip/pelvis alignment, spinal alignment, locked SI joints and more can all cause severe sciatic pain.  No drugs...just get an x-ray and a chiropractor.  If this is something truly spinal, they will tell you.  Then it's time for a neurosurgeon.  Right now, chiropractic can help you very quickly if alignment is the cause of the pinched sciatic nerve.

I'm in similar position. Feels lime cramp from my buttock to my foot. Sitting is horrendous. The only relief I get is lying in a warm bath for a while. Afterwards I have about half an hour pain free.

I've been suffering for about 8 mths now. I e been extremely depress. I have bad thoughts. My back is damaged in 3 places

Ls c1 , C7 herniated  and thoracic is damaged. I suffer from chronic sciatic nerve damage. I'm in my early 30's and was in a very bad car accident. Crazy part about this situation is that I'm able to walk with the pain but very slowly and no body believed that I was injured because of my appearance. I had to beg for a MRI. My personal doctor , my physical therapy office where I go 3 days a wk indicating that I was faking . Eventually I had to beg and cry for my personal doctor to give my a MRI prescription  and 3 MRI's later all those issues was found. My personal doctor was the only one who said sorry. She was deeply embarrassed.  Found out nerve pain radiates down my entire left side of my body and only my right lower half has nerve damage ..Told me about long term recovery and I should see a psychiatrist to deal with depression. I've been insulted by my psychiatrist she thinks I'm faking and has made extremely rude remarks about me. Said I was lazy and didn't want to work and completely disregard the info I provided her about the accident. Oh I also saw her because I'm having memory loss. I could walk into a room and competley forgot why I even went in ; because I'm able to remember things growing up etc I've been called a liar to my face. Has anyone else experience complete brain blackout ? I need this group more than ever. My body hurts the worse when it rains and I'm not sure if I will be able to survive the winter

I've had memory loss too. It's a known side effect of the medication I'm on. I can be half way through a sentence and have no idea what I'm talking about.

      Sorry to hear that.

I knew that something is wrong and I'm not being delusional about  my situation. It takes me a very long time to leave the house. Things are just processing slower than usual. I'm constantly experiencing blanks
