Sciatic pain after prolapse surgery

Hi,

Someone of my family recently had prolapse surgery and is now suffering from back pain due to an unknown reason.

It is a progressive sciatic pain which calms down by sitting or by taking anti inflammatory.

I found a topic here suggesting physic exercise which seems to be a good idea. Do you have any other recommendation ?

By the way I wanted to search specifically on this forum but the only search option is for the whole site. Is there a way to search only on this forum ?

Thanks

get her to see her doctor, and rule out other reasons for the pain, both connected with the surgery and otherwise.

Healing can take months if not longer tho, so she shouldn't be too concerned.

Yes this is planned. The surgeon already mentionned the sciatic case.

I hope it wont be too too long because apparently staying up too much is hard.

      Thanks for your answer.
