Sciatica made worse after going to the loo

Hi

I started with sciatica 10 years ago on my left side, several MRIs, physio, meds, osteopaths, chiros etc etc later, my pain moved to the right side, apparently due to my weight bearing to compensate for pain. I have a narrow spinal canal although all 'experts' tell me I don't have spinal stenosis, despite bending forward and sitting alleviates the pain. I am currently trying to get an 'upright MRI' as I'm convinced it will show more than a standard horizontal one where my symptoms disappear. My question is.. Does anyone find that going to the loo aggravates their sciatica? I dread going because I know the pain will increase. And after reading some of these posts, surgery doesn't seem a good option.
