Sclerotherapy how long recovery and did it work?

Anyone had Sclerotherapy for your internal hemorrhoids?

How did you feel and how long until the effect in decreasing in size?

I had 3 grade 1 injected 2 weeks ago.

Still feel some fullness and not sure If that is from the injection reaction or not.

Sclerotherapy for veins like varicose veins takes weeks to heal, i guess the same for hemorrhoids?

    John,

I'm assuming that the sclerotherapy is the injection into the hem. i had that done over 40 years ago, and while I do remember that it helped, I don't remember the details. A few months ago, I looked into whether it was available where I live now, and could not find a doc that did them. Where are you located? I would be interested in having it done again. I live 100 miles north of New York City. Thanks.

    Hey John,

I had this done last year and unfortunately I felt no improvement at all-it doesn't feel worse however it didn't treat my problem. I barely felt any discomfort or anything and after a few days I was feeling normal however I still get the usual flare ups. I was really hoping it would have worked but I have felt better results from the banding procedure. I hope it works for you!
