Scratchy voice and tension in throat

About two years ago i saw the doc about a scratchy voice, where it always felt like it was slightly irritated and would sometimes go altogether. He felt my neck and couldn't feel anything and said he thought it was reflux. He prescribed Lansaprazole and i took it for some time. Trouble was i kept forgetting to take it as you had to take it half an hour before meals! it seemed to ease a bit though so I thought it must be it. Then a year later the voice got bad again so back i went and he prescribed more of the same. I made a bigger effort but it stayed the same, then lockdown came and there were more important things to think of so i left it. A few weeks ago i rang him and he was on leave so i spoke with the nurse practitioner and he sent me for an xray on my cervical spine as he thought it might be a neck problem. this came back saying it was degenerative wear and tear. no further contact. So i spoke with my doc and he said if it was anything sinister (which i was thinking the worst as my neck/throat was feeling tense and weird) I would know it by now. he suggested silent reflux and advised me to google it and act accordingly. i did this but am not consuming any of the culprit foods they talked about, don't smoke or drink etc. Does anyone know of any natural remedies I could try to ease the reflux as I'm loathe to go back again and ask for Lansaprazole. or any other advice or comments if you have gone through the same? thanks.

yogurt helped me a lot to reduce the acid reflux. I take it regularly after meal and it helped me a lot. worth a try!
