Screw allergy after bunion surgery?

Has anyone had screw allergy ( titanium or metal) after bunion surgery ? What symptoms and how long after the surgery did they come out?

I asked this very question to someone recently and they told me that doesn't really happen anymore, They've taken measures to avoid that from happening, since this Century. But id this definite? I can not say.
