screw in toes

i had surgery for hammer toes 3 months ago , now the screw in my 4th toe can be seen and the toe nail is black should i wait until it falls out or go back to doctor

    What did the doctor tell you about the screws?   Are they supposed to come out on their own?  If not, why haven't you called him already??  😱

    when i went to him 2 weeks ago it was tender he said it was fine about 3 days later it started showing he said he couldn't take it out for another month , they were booked up . will it hurt to leave it alone that long ? it wasn't suppose to come out unless he took it out

      it is under the toe nail and a lil past it now
