Searching for a Surgery to Relieve Pain After a Stapled Hemorrhoidopexy

Hi everyone,

I'm a 23 year old male who received a Stapled Hemorrhoidopexy procedure in November of 2020. I had no issues prior to surgery other than prolapsing hemorrhoids. Ever since the surgery, I've been in the worst pain imaginable in the anal area. My muscles feel like they're in constant hypertrophy/contraction/spasm. I've tried pelvic floor therapy, Botox injections, and a Ganglion Impar nerve block and absolutely nothing has worked. My life is horrible, I was always an active person and now I'm in pain all the time regardless of what I do. Another local colorectal specialist in my area as well as my pelvic floor therapist have suggested that the staple line and /or retained staples from my surgery might be the source of all of this. They've proposed that I seek out a colorectal specialist in search of an "Aggraphectomy" procedure to essentially excise that staple line and/or remove any retained staples. Unfortunally, this procedure isn't the most common. I'm posting on here to see if anyone has ever gotten a Stapled Hemorrhoidopexy and has had chronic pain like me and possibly received another surgery to fix the issue. And if someone has had chronic pain like me, are your muscles constantly tight and squeezing like mine? And aside from that, has anyone else ever heard of this "Aggraphectomy" procedure or know of any surgeon who's performed it before? Any recommendations or helpful information would be greatly appreciated! I just want my normal life back.
