Hi, my name is Anna, I am a mostly healthy 23 year old but I am struggling with my energy levels. No matter how much or how little I sleep I still wake up tired. Last night i slept for 9 hours and I have taken 2 three hour naps since then and I am still tired. I work from home so it is very unlikely that I am just overworked. I have been diagnosed with anxiety, depressionand bipolar disorder. I take Prozac and Latuda every day. They both helped at first and then stopped working. I recently had blood work done and all of my levels are perfectly normal. I take multi-vitamins, vitamin B complex, magnesium, iron, calcium and fish oil every day. I had mono when I was in middle school. When I try lifht excersize like yoga it leaves me exhausted all day. If anyone has an idea what could be wrong with me I would appreciate it so much. I can't keep living exhausted like this all the time.

My daughter is 26 and has been the same as you for 4 years. She has chronic fatigue syndrome which is diagnosed by elimination of all other possible diseases that cause those symptoms. You could ask your gp about the tests but you've already had blood work done that was normal.
There is also extra help for those with cfs.
Hope you get some answers and some help. Good luck.

I am not an expert but it sounds like it could be CFS/ME (chronic fatigue syndrome). This disease is marked by fatigue that is not relieved by sleep and made significantly worse by exercise. Pushing yourself harder will only make it worse, so it will be important to learn how to take things slowly. Otherwise, you may face increasingly worse setbacks if you continue to push yourself too hard. I would recommend trying to find a CFS/ME specialist in your area and maybe try to find some support groups/do research on the newest breakthroughs in this disease. If your blood labs have indicated there is no infection or deficiency of some kind, then I would pursue this route. Good luck to you and I hope you can find some relief going forward!
