Searching for C.V.S sufferers (Yorkshire)

Hi I'm desperately trying to find anyone in the north of England that suffers from cyclic vomiting sydrome,so PLEASE if antbody know anyone with this condition i'd appreciate if you could get in contact with me......Its a long shot but who know's....Many thanks.

    Hi M yes I'm a member of 4 closed CVS sites on FB which all have have been extremely useful...but really would like to meet someone with CVS face to face.I've been a sufferer for over 20+ years or I'd even like start a north of England CVS group meet up,At the moment they all seem to be down south or american,thanks for your info though appreciated

    Hope you are successful Julian.  Have you thought about putting an article in local newspapers? Most "locals" are always looking for stories and you would reach more local people than being online.   Are there any other sufferers at your own GP practice who would meet you? Or,assuming you attend some sort of clinic at a hospital,could you put up a poster there? With permission of course. There are probably others in your situation who would like to meet up but dont know how to go about it. Lots of good luck...dont give up.

      Thank you so much Marina for your very kind reply....you have really thrown up a few new idea's there for me to explore,yeh I see a couple of specialists at hospital,my GP doesn't know anyone in the area as It's not that common,like you said I too am sure there are others who would wish to meet....Think thats my new quest and I wont give up till I find them.wink
