Hi, I've had my TN for 10+ years now. I'm interested to hear the experiences of anyone that's had a second Microvascular Decompression op. I had my first a couple of years ago but it hasn't been successful. I'm trying to manage the pain and hold down my full time job as a PA but on the dosage of meds that I'm on, it's a massive struggle. How do other people manage their jobs?

Thank, you Anna, that is really comforting to know. I have emailed my surgeon through his secretary, as there are other things I need to know, like when I can return to work, when I can drive, and so on. There's been no indication about such things, and it's really important for the general hearing process that you do these things but don't do them too early and upset the healing process.
