Sedation, what should a patient expect?

I have an idea of what I think sedation is, but what does everyone out there think?

    My main appointment for hepatology was made in oct and doctor expedited it (request I be seen sooner), but phoned them up today and because of all the alcoholics in my area I'm not gonna be seen til at least march !! Friggin NHS

    Hope all went well with op.

    just wanted to say I love getting sedative or general anaesthetic its a wonderful feeling when they say count backwards from 7 and I just get to 6 and next thing I m awake all

    relaxed and op over and iv had a few ops, wish I could bottle that feeling
