Seeing halos, starburst and floaters in my eyes for 3 months

I had been for my regular eye checkup and my optometrist told me I am a glaucoma suspect(he saw bigger eye cupping). This happened in starting October last year. After a month, in second week of November, I started seeing halos around bright light, few of he lights i see rainbow halos. I went to my local optometrist and he told you might have dry eyes and gave me tear plus eye drop. In starting December, I started seeing starburst around the car headlights and most of them look like a rainbow glare light streaks. I also got 3-4 floaters in both of my eyes. I asked two ophthalmologist about starburst and floaters and no one had any answer. I had already changed my glasses a month back so changing of glasses option was rules out. Now, since a week my eyes are feeling dry, even the eye drops are not working.
So many things are happening and myself or doctors have no idea what might be the cause. just posting here in case anybody might know anything. I am 30 years old male. I had my eye pressure checked this Jan starting, it was 15-16 in both the eyes.

Hi, I am a glucoma suspect too..because I have large cupping.., and just over a year ago, during a routine eye test my opticion noticed my eye pressure was 24...he refered me on....I was given eye drops, to lower the pressure, and now it is 16 in both eyes....I also get halos, and find it effects my eyes if I look at bright lights, I do wear glasses, so I am going to get anti glare on them....owing to using the eye drops, I now have dry eyes...and got drops for this too..my eyes get blurry sometimes. and at times I will get a flash of light out of the corner of my left eye...also mentioned this to my eye Doctor., but he didn't seem too concerned, as my visual field test was perfect. but it is so annoying....Have you considered changing your drops...to one that has no preservative in it...as this can irratate the eyes...and on bright days wear tinted glasses....all of this helps...

I am sorry to barge into this conversation with my own questions. I am a similar case like you. What is your cupping size? Also, did you do a 3D OTC test to check the nerve?
Mine is .67 and .67. and now after a year it's .69.
My visual fields are also normal.

Sorry May, Have no clue what my cupping size is...and no. I didn't do any tests myself...My eye Dr, just said , I had very big cups...I didn't know there was different sizes...but he said, things were under control, and to carry on using drops, and he would see me in 6 months...

ask your doctor to refer you to a specialist at the hospital. dont know why they have not done this already realy. sylvie.

Things are going same. I had an MRI recently and nothing popped up. I was looking online for the symptoms and "Visual Snow" matches with my symptoms here. It's a problem with the brain where for some reason you visual cortex gets more sensitive/activate and things like floaters, which brain is supposed to mask, doesn't. I have already been to like 8 ophthalmologist and now I know it's not related to eyes. Just look out for visual snow symptoms, because when the eye check ups return normal, brain is the cause.

i have the same symptoms! starting in june of last year literally overnight I started seeing halos around lights. at the same time I got a fever and had a loss if appetite. the fever went away and loss if appetite and overall unwell feeling lasted about two weeks...then appetite slowly came back but the halos turned into starbursts, and now I have tons if small floaters in both eyes. ive been to 4 dif eye drs all of which said my eyes are perfect.
it seems like Im getting new floaters every day now...no idea whats is going on

hi, this message is a bit late but if you pick it up it may help you. I have never had a migraine as such but last year when out shopping I developed a weird blind spot in my left eye, couldn't see properly and felt a bit sick. This turned into what looked like a "black hole" with a really pretty light ora round and bright zig zag lines. I had to sit down but it passed in about half an hour? Found out it was an optic painless migraine, I've had several since. After the attack I always have loads of floaters....
