Seeing Things? Help?

I’m an 18 year old girl and for years now, since I was very young, I’ve been experiencing something strange. My vision is overlapped with tiny dots similar to the static you see on a television. Thankfully, the “static” in my vision isn’t heavy; it’s pretty mild. However, I would like to understand what exactly this is. I see this static with my eyes opened AND closed, and I also see it in both the light and dark (though I do see it more in the darkness). In addition to the static vision, I also see flickering/moving red dots, lines, and shapes (usually circles). The red lines look similar to the red dotted lines you would see under a typo. I also see flickering/moving black and white dots, lines and shapes. These red, black and white visuals dance across my vision and can change sizes and shape. Just like with the static, I see these visuals with my eyes open AND closed. I can see them in both the dark and in the light. Even though these things aren’t necessarily scary and they don’t block anything in my vision, and I can see fine (though, I do wear glasses to help with my blurry vision), they can still be very distracting, stressful and anxiety-inducing. It’s often hard to focus or to fall asleep when I see them. I can overlook them sometimes. I can even go months overlooking them. However, from time to time I start to notice them again. They can appear to me at any time, but I see them especially when I’m stressed, anxious and feeling depressed. When I was younger, I went to many ophthalmologists and told them about this issue. They checked my eyes and couldn’t find anything seriously wrong. I also got an MRI scan as a child and, just like with the eye doctors, they couldn’t find anything. I recently began noticing them again when I was feeling very down and anxious. I’m losing sleep. I’m getting bad headaches. I am not on any medications. I desperately wish to understand what it is that I’m experiencing, and I would like to know if there is anything that can be done to solve/deal with this problem. Please help. Thank you.
