Seeking comfort/support from others. Freaking out about what looks like dark stool

Hi Everyone, 3 weeks ago while having dinner I felt a sharp pain in my stomach...I didn't stop eating. Soon after I finished my meal my stomach started to bloat/swell and I felt extreme discomfort so I just sort of stayed sedentary and wait for my stomach to calm. The next morning I woke up with so much acid going up my throat and my stomach wouldn't stop making noise. I had a regular BM so I just took some tums for the acid reflux.
This continued for the next 3 days (bloating and discomfort after every meal). The 4th day I decided to get some Prilosec OTC (Omeprazole) once a day 14-day course of treatment. The prilosec seemed to work for a few days, my mistake was I never made any changes to my diet. I kept eating whatever I felt like, lots of bad/processed food. On the 10th day, I noticed that the acid and bloating came back and was worse than before so I called the doctors office to schedule an appointment and was able to see him two days later.
The night before my appointment was the worst...I couldn't sleep from stomach pains, excessive acid reflux coming up my throat and into my mouth, bloating and what felt like liquid boiling in my stomach. Told Dr the whole story and he prescribed Pantoprazole 40mg (PPI) to take once a day and Carafate 1MG/10ML suspension to take four times daily before meals. He also gave me a referral to get an endoscopy and blood/lab order.
The next day I got result for my bloodwork, he said everything looked normal except something about the number regarding my liver was elevated. He said I should lose weight and do another blood test in a month, something about possible fatty liver.
Two days into PPI and carafate I started to feel much better than I have in weeks, even though I could still feel a little pains here and there in my stomach. I went out to enjoy the sun, walked along the water and went for a drive. On my way home I started to feel pain, like dull pain on my back, like back pain but I kept wondering if it was backpain or not.
When I woke up this morning I had a BM and it was dark. Some pieces were greenish but had dark parts. I freaked out as soon as I saw it
I went out again to get my mind of things and now i'm feeling tired because of lack of sleep and I haven't eaten a regular meal in days because of stomach pains and bloating when I eat. When I came home an hour ago, I told myself I need to eat to get some energy so i did. I ate two pieces of toast and 4 pieces of sardines that I completely rinsed off to remove the tomato sauce and oil (I din't want it to trigger acid reflux). A few minutes after eating I felt the urge to go to the bathroom and when I did it was another piece of dark stool. Now I'm freaking out
I wonder if it's from the blue berries and banana I ate yesterday and or a combination of the effects of the Prilosec I was on and the new PPI Pantoprazole and or the carafate.
Is it the elevated liver numbers my doctor was worried about? Was the backpain yesterday from liver problems? Was I bleeding internally hence the pains and cause of dark stool?
Or is the dark stool from a bleeding ulcer? Or from the blueberries and bananas I've been eating?
I'm just venting out and looking for comfort
I hope everyone here is well.

I had bad indigestion and my gall bladder was removed. My liver readings were sky high. They thought a gall stone was blocking a duct so the bile backed up. I think that's right anyway. Best wishes.

Thanks, Tonie, yeah it appears I will have to be more assertive until I get an appointment scheduled immediately. After speaking with my GI doctor last Thursday he told me he would like to get an endoscopy done "soon" and told me his receptionist would call me back with an appointment but I never got a call back. I called them the following day and got a machine so I left a voicemail but the weekend came and I haven't heard back from them. I will call them again tomorrow to make sure I get seen as soon as possible. Glad to hear you got a diagnosis, treatment and has been on remission. I'm so scared that what I have is the "c" word I'm praying it's just really bad case of GERD and not my Barrett's Esophagus turned bad

Tonie, thanks again you're so kind and sweet. So just to give you an update I had my endoscopy last Friday, the doctor took biopsies of my stomach and esophagus, results were negative so at least that's in the clear. He saw that my Barrett's is still there and no changes since he discovered it 3 yrs ago during my first ever endoscopy. His only findings different from last time is that I have gastritis and esophagitis (inflammation of the stomach lining and inflammation of the esophagus).
He told me to finish up the Pantoprazole (PPI) and monitor my condition. If my symptoms persist, he said I will need to do an ultrasound to check my liver, kidney, gallbladder, etc...
I just hope my stomach heals up soon and I can get back to feeling normal again.
Hope you're well, Tonie, have a great week
