Sensation of a foreign body stuck in my throat - so scared!

Hello!

I am currently 22 years old and my problems started about a year and a half ago. It all started with a chronic pain in my throat and tonsillar area. I went to see my doctor and an otorhinolaryngologist and they diagnosed my pain as an idiopathic. I didn't know what to do, I was in pain and so scared until one day I found out I have a lot of tonsil stones behind my tonsils. When I squeezed them out, everything was good. The tonsil stones never disappeared, but I was squeezing them out and the pain was not present anymore. I didn't have any problems until recently - for about three weeks now I feel something stuck behind my right tonsil/in my throat. It was such a weird sensation (of a foreign body) and I felt scared so I went to see my doctor again. She said that the right tonsil is a bit bigger (the part under the tonsil) and it scared me even more. She sent me to the specialist again. I am so scared that I don't know what should I do. Can it be a tonsil cancer? Does it have something to do with tonsil stones? I am only 22 and not a smoker. I drink occasionally, like once every two months.

Hey, Sam, I am sorry for the late answer. I have visited the specialist and he said he sees nothing I should be worried about. But I still feel the sensation and pain so I am going for the second opinion as well. The thing is that they calmed me down a bit, because he said the lump is most likely not cancerous if it doesn't double in its size in a month, doesn't look like there are blood vessels around it, ect. I hope you have found your answer as well and wish you well!
