hi, i just wondered if anyone else ever suffered with skin sensitivity due to stress and anxiety? for the past week my left hand abdomen and around my lower back, the skin has been super sensitive to touch. clothes bug it and so does touching it with my hands. my naturopath thinks its due to scar tissue from my c section, which it could be. but im curious if it could also be a stress and anxiety thing.

no matter what the doc says skin sensitivity is.. its a issue for you and that can be scary and needs to be addressed. its not enough when life is stressful with family home work and the pandemic. we all can connect with each other to let others know that we do care and understand, rather than brush it under the rug by diagnosing ... 'its just scar tissue'. your doc right at that moment could have offered a kind ear for a minute and helped you by just connecting you with extra help or a kind ear. sometimes they too are stressed and overworked during this pandemic, so its leaving those of us who have stressful times to find on our own what can help us the most. sometimes its exercise getting the endorphins going to raise our attitudes, watching a movie, hobbies or just chatting with others who can exercise important feedback by simply addressing that what others are feeling is real and very understandable at the moment. time, time ,time, is always healing as it can take a turn for the best when we continue to push ourselves for a better quality of life. maybe a few habits is what is needed to change to accomplish that . it doesnt have to be perfect but taking baby steps ....moving forward...

i totally get it and when there is stress in our lives it can take a toll emotionally / physically in many ways. just take one day at a time ..its not about control or feeling smothered. its about giving what we can to help manage a peaceful encouraging message to help others cope.

take care , sending good vibes your way and many good quality cyber hugs...
