Serataline shaking

hi all my fiancé just started taking serataline for one week for anxiety /depression following a pyschotic episode in March . It was medically induced by anti biotic Avalox initially as she had severe allergic reaction . The serataline has now made anxiety worse and she is shaking really badly . The pychatrist saying it's not side effect but anxiety . Another mental nurse in same office saying it is side effect and after reading posts I believe it is . You try to put your trust in professionals but they all contradict each other . Some posts here stay stick with it as it will get better but then others say get off this tablet . She is now worrying about the most silly things and blowing out of proportion . Any advise please ?

After my experiences with these meds I would get her off them now before she develops issues that become permanent. Please read my other posts regarding these problems. These doctors have a vested interest to keep them on meds. This was caused initially by a med and NOT because she's predisposed to mental imbalances. You throw psych meds at her and they can cause more anxiety that you would otherwise NEVER deal with.
Good Luck!

I suggest, as Resigned has,to read through the posts. One link of interest would be " Do withdrawl symptoms from Sertarline ever go away"? Many of us on here are still suffering 7 months to a year after quitting these drugs.
Drs. at least the ones I dealt with, perscribe one drug, then another, to counteract the symptoms of the previous one. Many have never taken these drugs, aren't familiar with the wide effects, and don't believe their patients. I was told by one Dr. just ignore the side effects. I said " have you ever taken these drugs'? There was dad silence ~ no reply! They are not God, they know what they are taught and read in their medical books! We know that each patient is unique and responds differently to meds., and so should they!
