Serious cyst?

I think I have a bartholin cyst, almost all the side effects like pain when sitting, even when wiping after using the bathroom. The only thing is is that when I turn backwards in the mirror it looks like a white spot, most definitions say it's either invisible or just a lump. I tried to call my OBGYN but she told me to go the ER but just not sure if that's necessary.. it's been tender for 3 days.. i only have a shower so I can't take a "sitz bath" which they say is a at home treatment. Just not sure what I should do..

    I would go to the ER and say your OBGYN told you to.  I think you are right a b cyst.  Get it checked.  They will probably give you some drugs.  Potentially it might get bigger...you want to avoid that.  It becomes very painful.  Get on top of it.  Recommend medical advice.

    Take your Doctors advice. Go to the ER, and book a OBGYN appointment. If they lance it and place a words catether then you can make your appointment for 3 weeks and do sitz bath twice a day. 

    You can go to a shopper drugmart and get a sitz bath which will sit over the toliet. you never want to complete a sitz bath in the tub with your entire body due to the bacteria you may be introducing. 

    There are options for long term treatment but that's something you can discuss after the ER. Let us know how it turns out.

    U need to go to your doctors. If its hurting like that and it is batholins then it could be infected and u might need antibiotics. With me when it gets sore I can't even walk it is about to burst. Truthfully I've never looked at mine whenever I've had one so not sure what it looks like. But def go to your doctors. If u feel it is one and the pain is intense then yeah maybe go 2 a&e it might need to be drained. I've never had mine drained. I have always let them burst themselves because my hospital don't drain them the operate.

      Hi rachel, I was wondering do you use any home remedies to help yout BC burst? Also how do you know when it is going to burst. I have had a BC for a few days now and I went to my gyno today and she told me to just do warm baths and see if that helps.
