Seriously? These two adverts are regularly appearing on the alcohol problem forum?

One is for a Gin Club and the other for Liver Damage testing!

As the forum posts are so heavily censored on here surely the adverts should be vetted too?

Okay feeling left out mine is for Dettol 😜 unfortunately as this is a free site the people who run it probably have no choice over the adverts. Also special programs on the Internet can optimise adverts dependant on your search history, when I was renovating my house they were all for screw fix and B&Q. Dettol if your wondering I have no idea lol

Do a Google search for "AdBlock Plus", it will prevent MOST of the ads. It works with several web browsers.

    Plus, it is free !!!

One must bear in mind that the ads seen on most sites are placed there intentionally by Google, which monitors your keystrokes.  The site does not directly control which ads appear in the ad boxes.  I believe another reply contained instructions on how to mitigate this annoyance.

I don't remember searching for a Gin Club online but hey, who knows I've searched for worse when under the influence!

It actually doesn't bother me that much, just seemed a bit 'wrong' considering the topics under discussion.

Thanks for the adblocker advice though, will give it a go.
