Seroquel withdrawal

I stopped 200mg seroquel abruptly for a few weeks and have titrated back to 100mg at night.  I am experiencing dreadful gastric problems diarrhea abdominal pain unable to keep food in me.   Anyone else had this please

    When I was taking Seroquel, I gained a lot of weight. It was the eating habits that caused gastric issues, not the Seroquel.

      Thanks Tom.  I put on loads of weight that is why I stopped but since restarting at a lower dose I am having a really bad stomach upset.   Just wondered if anyone else had this. I also take vortioxetine.  It is a nightmare.   Hope you are doing okay without it

    Hi Val I took 50gm quetiapine for 1,5 year, although it was small dose I couldn't be able to stop suddenly. I stopped taking 5 months ago and feel okay but precautions had to be done. You need to feel well when you decide stopping. When I stopped everything was fine with me and try always to be happy and positive and not worry about small changes. I was okay with Family, friends and with myself which very important. Nowadays I am living well and can say I am fine.

    In general it was a long journey more than 10 year sleeping bad. I am happy now.
