Sertaline and Booze?

Hi all,

I have had mild anxiety over the past few months and decided to see a doctor about it. I was perscribed 50g of sertaline and just started today. After work I usually go home and have 2 or 3 drinks. I was wondering if anyone has had problems with side effects or anything in these conditions or if I would still be okay to do so. Thanks!

    Hello. I've found that a few drinks in moderation are ok with sertraline. But from a personal point if view , I wouldn't recommend it Daily.

    I discussed this with a pharmacist. A few drinks will not affect Sertraline. The most it will do is make you sleepy, so don't overdo it.....stick to guidelines

    A glass or 2 is ok but others have reported much more than this leads to a bad day or two after
