Sertaline Help! When will I start to feel better?!

I'm currently on sertaline. Been on it for 38days. Doctor wanted me to start on 50mg but I was too scared and asked if I could half it which I did but had to up it within a week. Started on lupin 25mg for 6days then went up to 50mg for 19days. The first 1/2weeks weren't very nice, side effects like dry mouth, nausea to name a few and the worse being heightened anxiety. It did calm down abit but I started having some low days too. My doctor wanted to increase me to 100mg so again a split the dose and did 6days on 75mg and for a couple of them days I felt ok. I've been on 100mg for a week now and I've not had a good day yet plus the last few days my anxiety is lingering, usually it's there in the morning then start to feel better as the day/evening goes on but I haven't it's just there. Is this normal? I'm so worried it's going to make me worse again. I've had a few headaches and tingling throughout the body which I can deal with plus very tired but I am working everyday too and got 2children. Also my prescription changed too to ranbaxy and that was 2 days ago too so I don't know if that has something to do with the continuing anxiety. Any advice would be most grateful. Thank you x

    Hi, I went/ l am still going though a stressful situation and started taking sertaline 50mg about 7weeks ago and having been going to talking therapy, i feel really very good but am unsure if it is because I have moved pass the trauma of my situation, the medication, therapy or that I just don't feel so helpless! I like feeling stronger and this drug has really helped me to cope. The first 2 weeks I felt awful but after that I started to lighten. If this is not the medication for you then you will find another to help you get through, keep your chin up.

      Hi Marie, that's great that your feeling better on the meds, I'm really pleased for you. Yes I'm going through a stressful situation myself so I don't think that's helping. You still on 50mg? I've been on 100mg for 10days now and still feel abit low I'm hoping to start to feel better soon xxx
