Sertine 50mg and sweating

Posted , 5 users are following.

I have been on sertraline 50 mg for about 3 months. Recently I have been experiencing sweating mostly in the mornings and sometimes throughout the day. It seems to come and go for no apparent reason. I sometimes get night sweats. Has anyone experience the same side effects, and has anyone gone off of this drug and had the sweating subside?

Hi Moklems - I've been on Sert now for almost a year, the only side effect I still have is the hot sweats - my mood is brilliant and I feel like 'me' again but unfortunately the sweats persist - I'm on 100 mg - it would be great if someone could come up with a solution to this particular issue !

    Hi.

    I get get them too.

Im also on HRT but put it down to my age.

but iv been on HRT for 15 years and didn't have them before I started taking sertraline but I'd rather have the occasional sweats than feeling like I did before I started taking the antidepressant which I take for health Anxiety

iv been on them for 6months

hope it settles down soon .

    Yes!

I have been convinced it is linked with my hormonal cycle, but I never had night sweats like it before I used Sertraline.

I have vivid dreams with night sweats but no more increased perspiration during the day.
