Sertraline 100mg 11 weeks

hi all. i was on 50mg sertraline for 12 weeks and then the doctor upped it to 100mg.

i have now been on 100mg for 11 weeks. i have been pretty much up and down over this period. but the tablets are definitley working its just like everyone else i have bad days too.

the last couple of days iv been really anxious and having obsessive thoughts that im dieing. which i know is the anxiety. would you not think the tablets should of settled by now.

i know people say be patient as they are slow working.

any reassurance much appreciated

    hi sydal iv done 12 week 50mg and 7 weeks 100 mg the tablets are definately work but i also have bad days but the good are definately out weighing the bad

    Yes, it is normal. It's what makes this journey so difficult. Some days you feel and improvement and pin your hopes that you will feel even better the next day and instead you get the opposite effect and feel like your losing ground. Up until recently I actually started to despair thinking that I was not going to get better, then for the last four days, I feel almost normal except for the first couple of hours in the morning. From my last recoveries I know that I am nearing the finish line. You will get there too. All the best...

      thankyou. yeah the first hour or 2 in the morning is bad for me to. feel so down then i perk up.
