sertraline 100mg

Been taking 100mg for 2 weeks now, having previously taken 50mg for 5 weeks. I still am very very anxious first thing in the morning. Would it be better to take tab at night instead of morning, or would this transfer anxiety back to the evening, any views ?

Hand tremors are one of the main side effects of setraline. In my case, it just got worse. Got too embarrased to eat out or even go for cup of coffee. Was taken off them and within 2/3 days, tremors stopped!

    Hi Janet,

I was instructed to take mine a night and it works well for me. I awaken a bit early, but for me it is better than sleeping all day, which is something my depression likes to make me do.

hi Janet I am 4 wks 6 days on 50mg. I take mine around 8.00am. I have good sleep nights and some nights whereby I keep waking up. I wake up in the morning feeling anxious but as soon as I am up and about I feel loads better. The last 3 days the anxiety during the day is so much better so I can cope with waking a little anxious. I do also get night sweats around 5 am but it doesn't bother me I tend to try and go back to sleep. I have the option to up to 100mg but I am unsure as 50 seems ok at Mo and I am also on 80mg slow release propranolol twice daily. These are beta blockers that take some of the physical side affect away for me. I have been on these the same amount of time. hope this helps
