Sertraline 100mg

Hi everyone,

I am really struggling to decipher whether my problems at the moment are linked to me taking Sertraline 100mg or whether it's something else and I’m almost at my wits end.

I began taking 50mg around 10 months ago and approx. 3 months ago I was increased to 100mg. I am constantly feeling exhausted, I sleep in regularly (sometimes late for work), I drink about 7 cups of coffee and feel just as bad, and look like a zombie by the afternoon (my makeup just disappears off my face & I look ill).

I am a 25 year old, moderately healthy and sick of feeling like this. I went for tests recently which came back negative so I’m not sure whether to go back & push my Doc to take more tests or whether it's actually just the Sertraline.

I do sleep an average amount sometimes slightly more than what I should but always wake up as if I’ve not slept at all… Is this normal?

Any help would be much appreciated.

Thanks

I had no problems on Sertraline but others on this board have had lots of problems on it.  Hopefully they will respond.  Have you tried Prozac?  You might discuss that with your doctor. I had an easy time on it. Good luck. I know how hard it can be.
