Hi Maureen...what dose are you on? Have you recently picked up a new prescription?

I was on 50mg and started feeling the anxiety coming back after almost a month. Went to doc. And doc said up the dose to 100mg

Maybe you need to up to 125mg maybe??

Check with your doctor, and maybe go from there.

      Hope all goes well.

      Happy Thoughts

Maybe a couple more days or a week more then up the meds.

Today on the 100 hasn't been real real bad.

A little tired, and kinda on edge, if you know what I mean. It's right around the 5th-6th hour mark after taking the 100 is when I get tired. So I laid day for a nap.

Up now, and still have the weird ringing/ buzzing noise in my ears, and I'm a little shakey. Going to try a little food and hopefully have a good evening.

All going well with you so far today??

Anyone else maybe reading the posts??

      How is everyone?

Wish everyone well, and think happy Thoughts!!!!!!

It's a awful feeling when you're n this state. It's always best to have some food at the same time as taking the tablet so you don't feel sick. I always feel tired, too.  It's exhausting having to be constantly worrying.  Today I've taken a lorazepam to try and calm me down so we'll see if that helps.  Do you take anything to help calm you?

      Hello Maureen.

I take xanax when needed, to calm down the anxiety, and panic.

I take the med mid morning, and sometimes it is hard to eat in the mornings, but I will try what you said about eating after the pill.

How you getting along after your med today?

Hi Todd. I'm glad you have something to take when it's bad. I would give it a try.  Even eat breakfast first then take it so you've got something inside you before the tablet hits the stomach and that might help. Otherwise if you're taking it without any food it won't get absorbed properly and you'll end up just passsing it through your system.

Today gradually improved after the lorazepam but I've only a few left and they won't give me anymore as they're addictive.  I can see why as I function better with one!

hooe you've had a good day

Hi Maureen, I had very bad anxiety from starting Sertraline, and up to 6-7 weeks after my last dose ncrease I still had some bad days with the anxiety, so from my experience I'd say that it's normal. I know it's really worrying when you're doing well and some of the side effects return, but remind yourself that it will definitely pass. I hooe you've had a good weeend. Take care, Dom smile

I think we just need to ride the storm and let the meds do their thing!  Some days are better than others. Weekend wasn't too bad so that's good.

Hope you're on an even keel with your meds now

      all the best
