Anybody else been on steraline and now had it increased?

I feel my anxiety better but sleep still not 100 per cent .  I haven’t been on the increase very long,  roughly a week or so.

How is everyone else doing on it and is 100mg a lot to be on.

Just depends what your diagnosis from your doctor was. It seems people get anxiety relief between 50-100mgs and as far as I know going higher is more targeted at major depression

Im no doctor or expert by any means but thats my understanding. Considering i have never recieved a diagnosis I wont go above 100mg, i take 50mg at the moment.

Good luck, try going to bed earlier, i also take magnesium at night for sleep.

Hey I have. Works well for me. It takes time though! Stick with and hopefully side effects will decrease as anxiety decreases. I can sleep now 🎉🎉

    Hi there,

I had it increased from 50mg to 100mg. Been on it for ages and it really helped crush the anxiety for me. I don't know about sleep, I tend to sleep awesome these days when I put my mind to it but I do remember I felt a bit odd initially because of the increased dose.

I'm not a doctor or anything but I reckon things should settle down for you after about 2 weeks so give it another week. Also try and take your mind off sleep or you could create a self fulfilling prophecy 😀. Hang in there.

I increased to 100 a week ago. I feel much better but sleeping is rough.

I take an Ativan to sleep but it doesn’t work until about 2am. So anyway. I am just thrilled my anxiety is so much better!!

    Hope you feel better.

I was on 50 for about 8 weeks, bumped to 75 for a week and now been on 100 almost a week. I've seen a marked difference in my anxiety level specifically morning anxiety which was a really difficult issue for me. I haven't had any sleep issues, I take my dose between 9 and 10 pm each day. Do you take yours at night? If so, perhaps trying to take it in the morning will help. I also take 1 mg of Xanax extended release every evening with my Zoloft. To me it seems so far the 100 mg dose has done the best to keep my anxiety down and help me start feeling like I can do life easier.

I take mine in the morning too. The only thing now is when I first wake up I feel terrible, after an hour or so I’m fine. So my mantra is ‘1 hour’ ha.
