It causes a burning sensation in my mouth and other things like toothpaste and chewing gum have similar effect... Also sadley I smoke and the taste if cigarettes has also changined and I can not tolerate finishing a whole cig!!! not a bad thing though lol. I looked inside my mouth and my tou he seems to look quite sore. I would welcome any comments please.

Thanks Polly x

I wouldn't say I got any side effects in my mouth but my lips are sore and dry. How long have you been on the tablets for?

    Dear Polly,

Sometimes burning mouth syndrome can be elevated by getting a strong multi-spectrum probiotic. It is definitely worth a try since this stabilizes bacteria in your gut and soft tissue like your mouth. Give it a couple of weeks and see if it helps you.

    Good luck!

    Hi any advice

I been on sertraline 50mg for to weeks and yesterday was upped to 100mg. I still feel really sick and dry heaving. Top of chest feels heavy like someone is sat on me and also my left shoulder feels really tender and achy and apparently it's due to muscles where I tense up but I don't feel like I tense up. Does this sound right?

Also how long should I give these tablets to work before I know nothing is seriously wrong with me?

    Please help
