My Sertraline was increased from 150mg to 200mg this morning. I'm not feeling too good at the moment, really anxious, suicidal thoughts. This is the maximum dose. Has this happened to anyone else after increasing the dose ? Please help.

I went straight in on 100mg. Is stronger dosage any better as I'm still feeling anxious.

Give it time, I started at 50mg in December and gradually increased to 200mg in March. It does take time to work, I think it hasn't worked but friends and family say I have improved a lot

The increase in dose isn't a bad thing, I've been prescribed several anti depresent drugs in my life.

i,m on 200mg now, hasn,t stopped any suicidal thoughts. i have no family whatsoever now, my GP just lets me get on with it even though i feel they,re not working as they should . now developed stage 3 hypertension which on throws off heartattacks or angina

hi Carrol. im on 150mg setraline for 6 dags now. i had 3 much better dags and I got hope. Im of work for over 1 year for severe anxiety and depression. i tried venlafaxin Last year but didnt work well. so im back on sertraline wich u have hade for most of my adult life. and 150mg . but change it beacuse i got health anxiety that made me home with severe anxitey for 4 month. but before i was of setraline i whas fine and started to work. them try paxil. and raiced the dose Every week. and on the 4 weekend i totally crasch whit the worst constant anxiety ever. ben struggle since then. im soooo scared that sertralin wont help this time ,and this is me forever. i cant go to shops or go out ,or mest friends. Only on the few better days... Do you think that sertralin will help again ,mabye on even a higher dose. im so scared. ( sorry my english, im from sweden)///Lena

i am on zoloft 200 mg for 3+ week. zoloft didn't kickin. my anixety and depression. doc give me 0.25 mg clonazePAM 3 times a day, but it only calm down 3 hours. doc didn't do anything. i suffered most of time. anxiety and depression make me can't function. anybody have ideas? just wait and die?
