Yes, so far as I know I think it is normal. It might take a while to go away. If that is the only side effect you are getting then I think you are one of the lucky ones. Its always a bit disorientating when you switch from one drug to another. how long had you been on mirtazepine and why are you coming off? i'm just curious as I have done similar but came off citalopram as I couldn't tolerate the side effects which never went even after 4 months. Sertraline has helped me more but its been a long journey and it hasn't ended yet. I'm just hoping things will carry on improving because I was pretty desperate when I first tried antidepressants. I only took mirtz for a few days bcause they left me feeling very wired and disorientated as if I'd been spiked with a wierd drug. I couldn't cope with it. Good luck, it would be interesting to know how you get on.

Its all a confusing nightmare. If you dont feel too bad on the sertraline then carry on and give it time. Why did you stop the new drug when you had it before. All I can say is I'm on a similar journey.there is a very interesting post from someone called rob74885 and then a number in reply to a post by a girl Laura2193. see if you can find it. It might help with all the confusion. Good luck and stay in touch, it would be interesting to know how you get on, take care
