Hiya, it should go away. Took 8 weeks for any of my side effects to stop.

I'm on 50mg a day and take it in the morning xx

Hi julie  just read your post   I found take meds at night really helped me as I was worried about feeling tired/or other side effects in the day. Have been on sertraline for 10weeks and to date havent had much trouble sleeping although I do get occassional nights when I cant  but considering I never slept because I couldnt switch off i dont mind occassional sleepless nights  Its about what works for you really  but once your body has got used to the meds it should all settle down for you  good luck

Remember they are just to stabilise things and don't cure all ills! I have taken Sertraline for five years and it now controls my 'unreasonable' OCD/depression/anxiety tendencies, but can't cure life. I still get stressed and anxious when bad things happen, I still get bad nights sleep when it's a full moon or near my monthlies. Don't expect it to perfect everything, but it really does help without numbing all experiences if life's ups and downs.
