Up until 6 months ago I was tapering sertraline to 25mg
My life has changed dramatically for the worst, as I am already on 25 will I get bad side effects of I reincrease to 50mg?

I like you was also tapering off sertaline (from 50mg). I managed to get down to 25mg but have had a very difficult few months and unfortunately my depression has returned. After seeking advice from my GP it was decided that it would be best to go back up to 50mg. I started 50mg 9 days ago. Side effects have not been too bad. A couple of very bad headaches for the first 5 days but they seem to have subsided now. In terms of my mood, I am still waiting for some improvement because I would not say it has improved as of yet. I hope it will improve soon. Hope this helps you.

I know that depression can go hand in hand with anxiety, but it is not normally prescribed for that.
My advice is to go to a psychiatrist, not a GP. It was the BEST decision I made.
