So did you see your GP ? Did you get a sick note ?

Bizarre to up your dose, I would advise you get an app to discuss. I'm on 50 MSG for last 18 mths

If it's working why the increase

     Best wishes

You need to see the GP to get this sorted out, poor practice by the GP to increase your meds without seeing you

      All the best

Julie my dr upped me to 100 mg  just today.  Apparently, 50 mg is just a starting dose and not a therapeutic level.  So far 50 mg has not done much for me except I have terrible nausea every morning that lasts all day and NO appetite

I am eating almost nothing.  So I am worried about the increase but it is not uncommon to be raised up.

Hi Julie- finally after 3 miserable weeks on Seratraline I think I am beginning to be a bit better.  My appetite seems to have returned today and I actually got out of the house to visit a friend.  I was upped to 75 mg on Thurs and am supposed to take 100 mg after a week of that.  It has been a long road and I had just about given up feeling better, even now, I am only cautiously optimistic.  How long have you been taking Sertraline and how much.  Also, what side effects?
