do it u feel even a slight improvement over the 4 weeks? it's very subtle but it does happen. I felt better at 4 1/2 weeks. give it to 6 weeks and if no improvement, then go back to GP to either up the dose or change the meds.

let me know how you get on. big hugs to you xx

I agree with lattifa give it more time and you should feel a little lift up mood and you will be able to cope this anixity and if not check with your doc . Don't worry you are not alone . Be strong and beat this you can do it .

You may be need to up your dose .

Ask your doc if you can't bear your anixity at all but if you feel any slightly better so stick to it a little more.

      Good luck .

    Hello Michael,

trust me, you are not alone in this. horrible though it is, you can recover, and you will learn how to adapt. the side effects of this medication are pretty unpleasant and you know all too well. knocks your confidence down too i guess. im 39, and this is my 3rd bad spell with anxiety problems, and sertraline has helped me to degree of of comfort, without being like i used to be. and just remember too, that all this is , is a chemical reaction inside your body. by all means if it gets too much to deal with, call your GP.
