The generics can vary with the amount of active ingredient, this can cause problems for you. I found sertraline on the low dose fab after I got over the start up, I was able to talk to people again.
i like another poster unfortunately put a lot of weight on four stone in total, now off sertraline and actively trying to lose weight.

Such a shame we have to find our own information, the drugs are addictive hence the reason the dosage needs increasing, we do not crave the drug because we are told we do not crave it.
It is now coming to light about the studies being hidden, so as to hide the truth about the side effects, unfortunately while the drug companies have the power we will have to continue being the Guinea pigs, sending in our adverse reports and unfortunately we have to be the campaigners who get the doctors to listen.
They surely know these drugs are altering things in the brain that they know nothing for sure about, this is dangerous that drugs can damage our brains and cause toxic problems but we have to accept it because the doctor says so.
I for one will not accept it, the French study that caused a death and brain damage should surely change things, that was an antidepressant they were testing, I notice it has all been hushed up, but I will continue to look for the truth and help others along the way.
