Sertraline 50mg after 3 weeks....

Posted , 4 users are following.

Really really need some reassurance. I've been taking Sertraline 3 weeks now and am still feeling so low and unable to do anything other than sit like a vegetable all day in front of the TV. I am just waiting for myself to feel alive again. Please can someone give me some words of wisdom or support. Thank you.

Hi, I am on week 8 of a consistent dose of 150 mg. The journey sucks but I promise there is a light and in a couple weeks you will see it too. It does take forever but the med does work!!! Another thing that has helped me truly is meditation and mindfulness , I know it sounds like a crock and you just want to be better, but it has helped me soooooo much . The meds need a few more weeks, stay strong

Thank you so much for replying and giving me a bit of hope. I thought I would give it another week at 50mg and then think about upping the dose. Do you remember what week you started to feel better?

I think I noticed a difference at 4-5 weeks , week six was a little less and I have been doing well the last few weeks . Please know that you are not alone and you will be better!!!
